A tiny Oasis of levity in this CRAZY world.

We did have our traditional St Paddy's Day party, but, only 8 of us - 6 guests who are still here (due to leave soon) Debbie and me.

 All restaurants, bars, etc are now closed on both the Dutch and French sides of the island, some are doing delivery and takeout.

Borders are closed to all except residents returning and visitors leaving. Residents will not be able to return after 22nd of this month.

Not sure how long this will apply, certainly at least 2 weeks, but, who knows what will be happening after that ?????????

 

Yesterday was a GLORIOUS day, gentle trade winds, very calm seas, crystal clear water ...................

All we can do is sit back, hunker down, enjoy the peace and quiet and appreciate the clearer air and the sounds of nature.

Sitting on the bench next to the palm tree drinking my coffee in the morning, it's very easy to forget all the world problems, and then I get to go snorkelling and visit my fish friends. :-)

This crazyness will pass with time.
