We are ready to Welcome You

We're ready to welcome old (long time) and new "Toadies" to enjoy the sea, sand, sun (and shade) and our beautiful island.

Unfortunately the COVID pandemic has required that visitors to Sint Maarten provide, among other things, a negative covid test result (test taken and results received within 72 hours of arrival on the island).

The entry requirements for visiting our island can be found here:-

COVID Lockdown day 27 (I Think)

The Government of Sint Maarten has just extended the "lockdown" to end on Sunday May 17.

AND, Who knows if it will be changed again ??????? Very uncertain times we are going through.

As soon as we are permitted, we will be opening, probably to a whole new way of life. We will adapt as needed to provide the safest environment possible for our guests.

But, the weather is still gorgeous, sea is beautiful, flowers are blooming, fruit is ripening, and nature carries on as normal.

So,to whet your appetites, here is an assortment of pictures taken over the past few days ..........

COVID-19 Update

LATEST UPDATE on the travel requirements:-

"Passengers are required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test, with proof of negative results no older than 72 hours prior to day of travel, Children age 10 and under are exempt from testing."

Day 8 of ??? since our last guests left

Our favorite "Isolation Seat". While sitting there in the morning, watching the sun rise, sipping my coffee and looking out over the horizon, It's easy to believe that "While sitting there,There are no world problems" Charlie Webb will vouch for me here.

Well things are pretty quiet down here, only the occasional plane landing and departing, no guests in the house, thinking we will be shut down all the way through April ...... and maybe even May too at this rate, it's all very unsettling. BUT, right now, I cannot think of a nicer or safer place to wait this out.

I went for my normal nice long swim this morning and found my Octopus friend hiding in a pipe down the beach - unfortunately no good photos.

Looking forward to the fun and banter of Happy Hour on the beach again soon. And the snacks, OH the SNACKS !!!! I think I'm loosing weight, but I really miss those Happy Hour snacks.

Meanwhile here are a few photo teasers to keep you all warm (and possibly even sane)   ;-)
